----------Some Tips--------- All images must be unoptimized, unprogressive jpegs or they will not show up. makeGallery.exe will make all the thumbnails correctly but your original jpeg images may need to be resaved correctly to work. Use makeGallery.exe to easily make thumbnails and add text to your images. It doesn't allow you to edit the picture text after you close it though. You have to manually edit them by opening the pics.xml file for that gallery. Cumbersome I know. Thumbnails are 148px by 118px. Optional splash image or swf is 609px by 368px. The names in your menu.xml file for the navigation look best in all caps. ----------settings.xml Definitions---------- What the file looks like: <settings> <bordercolor>000000</bordercolor> <textcolor>FFFFFF</textcolor> <mainbgcolor>FFFFFF</mainbgcolor> <navtextcolor>FFFFFF</navtextcolor> <navbgcolor>000066</navbgcolor> <navgradcolor>660066</navgradcolor> <thumbbordercolor>000000</thumbbordercolor> <popups>true</popups> <splash>splash.jpg</splash> </settings> The first seven attributes are hex values that set colors for various parts of FIG: bordercolor - The outside border textcolor - Text color except the menu items mainbgcolor - Color of the main background underneath the thumbnails navtextcolor - Text color of the menu items navbgcolor - Background color of the menu items navgradcolor - The gradient color when menu items are rolled over thumbbordercolor - Color of the 1px border around the thumbnails popups - true or false. Determines whether or not images can be opened in a popup window. splash - jpg or swf file and should be 609px by 368px. The file must also be in the same folder as FIG. This file will be loaded as the splash image.
